As a young girl growing up in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I have always been inspired by my beautiful surroundings. I made bracelets from flowers at a very early age and I wove necklaces from young twigs. At a very young age, I adapted my clothes to the influence of my handmade creations. That is why an education as a goldsmith was a logical step for me, a profession in which I could put all my passion for creating into it. Something I am very proud of and that I do not regret for one second to this day.

I have been working as a goldsmith for over 25 years now, with a lot of love for the trade. And in that time I have developed my own taste and style as a jewellery designer. In my designs I like to be led by organic forms, nature is still my main source of inspiration. My favourite material is gold, but I also love gemstones. That was the reason for me to start training myself as a gem setter as well as a goldsmith. Meanwhile, I am now an advanced stone setter and I now teach others this beautiful and extensive profession.

Jewellery represents emotions and when I make my jewellery I go with my feelings. A piece of jewellery that I make on commission starts with a conversation with the customer. For me, the piece of jewellery is only successful if the customer also feels this emotion and if he/she wears the piece of jewellery with pleasure.

I love fashion and closely follow the trends in jewellery. I like to add details to my designs so that the piece of jewellery can be worn in multiple ways and therefore often and for a long time.
